Paper Collage On Canvas

These pieces represent my latest work of 2010.  These two and three panel (diptych and triptych) images represent ideas of progression and movement along the stages of growth and development of living things. The surfaces are comprised entirely of journal pages and other scraps of memorabilia from my recent and more distant past, put onto canvas and worked with a mixture of acrylic mediums. I build upon these collaged writings and drawings from earlier stages of my growth as an artist to mirror this idea of the process of change and development within nature and within myself as a part of that nature.
