I will be working on these pieces all summer [...]]]> I am very happy to report that I have received a commission from the international software company SAS to create a triptych for their new conference center in Cary, NC. The three pieces will be 24″ x 36″, in the oil and wax on wood medium. I will be working on these pieces all summer and am excited to get started. My only guideline is that the owner of the company hates pink, so I will have to do my best to use no pink at all, which is normally one of my favs. I visited the art department at SAS last week and was impressed by the other large abstract pieces already collected for the new space. Thanks to my friends Barbara and Marni for suggesting I contact SAS…  it only goes to show that there are plenty of people who love abstract, lucky for me!
